On Founder’s Day, we want to say a massive, well-deserved THANK YOU to you!
Each week, you provide skills and opportunities to nearly half a million young people. From running exciting programmes, to driving the minibus, crunching the budgets and everything in between. It’s because of you that Scouts happens.
Together, in one year we achieved our biggest single year of growth for 70 years, provided comfort for the nation when it was in mourning, were named as a recipient of HM The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Volunteering Award, and to top it off was named the Charity Times Charity of the Year!
We know times are still tough, and it would be so easy to let a busy schedule or another commitment get in the way of your volunteering. But you always manage to find the time, and we couldn’t appreciate it more.
Whether you volunteer each week, or as and when you can, you’ve made a positive difference and supported our young people when they’ve needed us most.
