International Adventures Summer 2023
We hope you are all well and keeping safe and enjoying returning back to face to face Scouting. Outlined are three exciting international opportunities for our young people!
The international opportunities are open to all Explorer age young people by the Summer of 2023. The Explorer Belt is also open to those of Network age in Summer 2023.
We are delighted to share with you details of our THREE international opportunities we have running during 2023. It’s going to be a busy year with trips to Iceland and the World Scout Jamboree in South Korea (for those of Explorer age) and an Explorer Belt in Italy for those aged 16-25.
In the links below there is information on each of the trips – and we’d love our young people to put themselves forward to be part of the groups.
We’re going to run information sessions on Monday 18th October and Wednesday 27th October at 7.00pm where you can hear more about each trip – and have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
After that, if you’d like to apply, you’ll need to complete the application form (link below) and return it to us by Friday 5th November 2021. The selection weekend will be on the weekend of 20th and 21st November – so put this in your diary (you’ll just need to attend one day).
If you are applying for the Explorer Belt AND will be over 18 by Summer 2023 then you do not need to attend a selection day, just complete the application form.
For now, read the information in the links below and try to attend one of the information events (they’ll be recorded for you to watch back if you can’t make the live sessions), complete the application form (or send us a video with the same information in if you’d prefer) and make sure we receive your application by Friday 5th November 2021.
We’re here to answer any questions you may have, so please do get in touch if you need more information and for the links to the informational sessions. Just use the email below:
