Network Gathering - Spread the Word! - (Scout Network, Scott Feltham)
A Network gathering will be held on Tuesday, 10th November 2009 at 19.00. The venue is Eversheds in Newcastle, along side the County Explorer Scout Forum. K10 Sports Talk-In (All Sections, Paul Capstick)
On Thursday 12th November, the K10 (Blyth Valley District Expedition to Switzerland) Management Team will be hosting a Sports Talk-In, a night of question and answer with ex Newcastle and England striker Peter Beardsley. For more information click here .

County Reports & Directory (All Sections, David Charlton)
The County Financial Statement is now on the County Website and can be found in the 'About NCS' page from the homepage. Also the County Directory that we used to produce each year is now electronic and updated frequently. To access the County Directory you need to login to the members only area of the website and click on the menu option for 'County Directory'
New Duke of Edinburgh Pages (John Brittain, County D of E Advisor)
We now have a great information resource for anything you need to know about the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and how this works with the Scout Balanced Programme. John Brittain has put together a number of pages in the members only area of the website. Once logged in, click on the 'DofE Award' menu option.
Medieval Marra 10 (All Sections, Richard Brown)
Plans are now well underway for Medieval Marra 10. There will be a number of new web pages launched in the next two weeks with the ability to book online for the camp, day visitors or staff. We will be undertaking all bookings online for this event. Look out for the update in the next two weeks.
