North Northumberland
North Northumberland Scout District incorporates seven Groups.
North Northumberland is the most northerly Scout District in England, stretching from Wooler to the town of Berwick on the River Tweed. It includes the historic Island of Lindisfarne, famous for St. Cuthbert and St. Aidan, as well as the Cheviot Hills.
North Northumberland is a sparsely populated rural area with Groups serving its small villages and the important market town of Berwick.
This is a very popular area for visitors with its historic and beautiful coast line together with walking across the Cheviot Hills. If you visit the area, why not take the opportunity to follow the Lindisfarne Trail across to Holy Island.
